Emilee Petersmark is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter who is best known as the co-lead singer of the very successful four-piece, indie-folk band The Crane Wives.
Emilee and I can’t really pin down how we came to know each other, but we don’t let that slow us down. In this great conversation, Emilee breaks down how to survive in the music business, the grind of touring as a band, the craft of songwriting, as well as discovering her sexual identity in the mid 2000’s.
We also are very excited to share Emilee’s exclusive *STUDIO SESSIONS performance of her solo song “Empty Spaces.” It’s a beautiful performance that perfectly highlights her raw and emotive energy.
